John served as a Member of Parliament between 2005 and 2024 and currently serves as Chairman of the Conservative Policy Forum, driving party policy discussions. A firm advocate for free markets and limited government, John has pushed the Government to reduce waste and foster economic growth. During his time in Parliament, John held roles as Anti-Corruption Champion, promoting integrity across government, Tourism & Heritage Minister, Minister for Constitutional Reform, and led national campaigns on helping people to escape poverty.
